The MCSAA completes its fall sports campaign with a trip to Joplin with over 25 girls volleyball teams competing in two divisions and more than 20 soccer teams competing in two divisions for state championship trophies.

 11/23/2008 		Missouri Special Olympics Indoor Winter Games
The Missouri Special Olympics brings 1,700 athletes to Joplin to compete in the Winter Indoor Games. Athletes are treated to opening ceremonies complete with entertainment and torch ceremony before competing in a bowling tournament so large, it utilizes three facilities. Olympic Village complete with games, food, dancing and entertainment at the John Q. Hammons Convention Center make all Special Olympic athletes feel like a champion.
