Joplin Sports Authority

Lauren (Bowman) Johnson joined the JSA staff in June of 2022 as office manager. She grew up in the small town of Diamond, Mo. before transferring to Joplin Schools in the fourth grade. She attended Duenweg Elementary and played on the undefeated Bowman Rodeo Girls softball team. Once she got into middle School, she played softball at Blinzler Joplin Little League until she reached High School then she joined the Lady Eagles team her sophomore and Junior years. She also ran track her entire High School career as a mid-distance to long distance runner. After High School she attended Missouri Southern State University and City Pointe Beauty Academy and became a licensed Esthetician. She is happy to be a part of a wonderful organization.

Lauren is married and resides in Diamond with three fur babies, Penelope, Peach and Chief.
