Farr was a four-year starter and letter winner at Joplin HS. She averaged 17.7 points, 10.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.6 steals per game during her senior season.
Farr also earned first-team All-State honors her senior campaign while earning first-team All-Area and All-District honors both her junior and senior seasons. She was also named first-team All-Ozark Conference for her sophomore, junior, and senior years. After graduation Farr signed to play for the Golden Hurricane at the University of Tulsa.
At Tulsa, Farr was nominated to be on the All-Newcomer team of the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Pacific Division. Farr started as a freshman for the Golden Hurricane and averaged 10.9 points and ranked third for Tulsa in scoring. She led the team in rebounding, pulling down 5.3 boards a game. Farr scored a career-high 21 points against Nicholls State and tallied 15 double-doubles.
Farr red-shirted her sophomore season due to a knee injury suffered in per-season workouts.
The next year, she averaged 3.2 points and 2.4 rebounds per game with a season-high nine boards against Eastern Illinois and a season-high 10 points against cross town rival Oral Roberts.
Farr's junior year saw her being selected to the second-team All-WAC. Farr made 12 free throws against Arkansas (then a Tulsa single-game record) and made 11 (then third on the single-game charts) against Rice, SMU, and Fresno State. Farr also scored in double figures in 36 games. Farr led the Golden Hurricane in free throw percentage (.835), points (340), and scoring average (13.1 ppg).
Farr played in and started all 30 games during her senior season scoring 400 points and finishing her career at Tulsa with 1,089 points (currently 10th on the Tulsa scoring list). She led Tulsa in free throw percentage (.790), rebounds (192), scoring (400), and scoring average (13.3).
Farr currently holds the first two spots in the single-game free throws made list with 15 against Rice on March 2, 2002 and 14 vs. San Jose State on Jan. 17, 2002. Her 12 free throws against Arkansas on Jan 5, 2001 is currently tied for the sixth best single-game mark. She also holds the second best freshman single-season free throws made mark with 127 charities made in the 1997-98 season. Farr also sits fourth, fifth, and tenth on the single-season free throw charts with 155 (2001-02), 152 (2000-01), and 127 (1997-98) and second all-time at Tulsa in free throws made with 457 (1997-2002, 100 games). She is also seventh in career free throw shooting percentage at .830 (456-552).
Farr is currently an orthopedic hand surgeon in the Louisville, Kentucky area.
